My inspiration for this project was aliens. My parody is about an alien from Uranus that has the power to make statues move. The lyrics of the parody are in the first person perspective of the alien who describes their characteristics as well as a time in their life in which they almost drowned. I am proud of this project because I feel like the lyrics are original and unique but also very cringe worthy. This project expanded my knowledge of how to use Pro Tools including how to edit, mix, and incorporate audio. Though it was difficult to use at first, once I got the hang of it, I got to experience a taste of how versatile and creative you can be with Pro Tools and I hope to use the skills that I learned from this project in the future for my own personal work.
